광야 The Wild Plain
Inspired by poet Lee Yuk-Sa’s ode to his homeland, Wild Plain is crafted from green Cheongsu grapes grown in Dosan-myeon, Andong—a region shaped by scorching summers and bitter winters, much like the lives of the independence activists it nurtured.
Unlike conventional whites, Wild Plain embraces a deliberate bitterness—fermented with skins to honour tradition. The wine’s bright golden hue and vibrant citrus aromas (lemon, lime, young apple) burst with energy, while subtle tannins add structure, reflecting the tenacity of its terroir. Its crisp acidity and white floral notes strike a balance between youthful vigour and depth.
For those seeking a white wine with character, it’s a bridge between Korea’s past and present, best shared with meals that celebrate resilience. Raise a glass to the land, the poet, and the unyielding spirit in every bottle.
